Why is a German World War II flag flying above the stars and stripes in Fort Bragg? Let’s find out!

Why is a World War II German battle flag flying above the stars and stripes in Fort Bragg? I heard about this and went to look. The worst part is that the flag of the German regular army and navy are above the beautiful stars and stripes, which is an act of indecency. No its not the flag of the SS or the Nazi party but this is the flag of a country that tried to shove facism down the throats of the world and we stopped them.
The Iron Cross is a symbol that dates to Prussia in 1811. It was also given as an award by the Nazis. This flag appears to be a WWII German battle flag. I’ll ask if that is what it is supposed to be. It looks like this but it was used for other purposes in Germany in the 30s and 40s. Germany’s post WWII flag, adopted in 1949 does not have the iron cross, but has these colors. I would have been irked about even that flag above the American Flag. I wouldn’t even care if a modern German flag was flown or written about it though. That Germany was our enemy and the enemy of humanity and the future. Modern Germany is NOT.
Some say online, this German battle flag has become a symbol of white supremacy. True? Don’t know but it’s a strong statement someone is making. Im making one too, it’s anti-American. I feel like I need to take a bath after seeing it. Thankfully Too Short Sales across the street has a big wonderful American Flag in all her glory. At the hospital, we have a great stars and stripes which always flies ABOVE the California flag as it should be. The Fort Bragg Fire Department has the most wonderful American flag in town that they put up on patriotic holidays and 9/11. See it on the 4th!! Gary’s Cabinents plans to have another awesome Stars and Stripes in the Mendocino 4th of July parade this year.
It’s a free country, for a while at least, and you can display any flag legally however you wish. But flag protocol says the American flag must fly higher on the same pole or in the same area.
Its true that these flags are on different residences, but the look is really bad. And why is someone flying a German battle flag anyway? There may be a good reason and its their right but people can also draw their own conclusions. What you do and show makes an impact and that stands on its own apart from your explanation.
What do you all think?
I’m going by to knock on the door later. But I think the impact is there. The explanation is secondary and they dont have to give me one. But I am also allowed to be irked. My dad and his generation fought Nazi and Japanese bastards who committed horrible war crimes against most of the world.
I will update this story when I find out more but you will have to click on the story to find that update.
People sometimes ask me why I choose the photos that I do. Sometimes they are angered that I chose bird images for stories about weird human behaviour. I think about a message I want to tell and cant in words and use images. That’s all I can say. I hope you enjoy.. The first is 5 cents I got i change.
Since this coin was created, society has corrected the misnomers, Indian and Bison. Sculptor Sculptor James Earle Fraser believed that indigenous people had been dehumanized. He and his sponsors at the mint did not want to portray any one Native American on the coin, but to show them as part of the American collective. Iron Tail, Two Moons, and John Big Tree as models. . On the back is an image of a bison named Black Diamond who lived at the Bronx Zoo. In modern times we call them bison. Buffalo is a general term for a much wider range for wild bovids, such as cape buffalo in Africa or water buffalo in Asia. Bison live only in North America.
White Supremacy, which dehumanizes other races as much as it does my Celtic-Germanic-Saxon-Swede-Swiss dignity is at an all-time peak in my lifetime right now. So much hate is OK now that was not OK when I graduated high school. So many people are talking about making our great country great again but making it white again. It never was white. You missed the point. The KKK’s agenda, long rejected in items like making English the law of the land, has now been accepted. Our leaders of the past said we were a melting pot and too strong to force English and that folks would love. America so much they would learn it. That idea is gone. I think images like this were wonderful. They became politically incorrect for reasons unfathomable to me. Natives are us. When we eliminate them from popular culture so as not to borrow their culture, I don’t get it. It’s our culture and ours is theirs, even if they and we don’t like it. We are all Americans. Its our flag. Johnny Cash sang about the Indian Ira Hayes, one of the flag raisers on Iwo Jima who like all the rest, yes ALL, suffered severe PTSD after the war. His war, our war, our flag. Not the Germans or Japanese.
My trip uptown included a meeting with the city about their purchase of MCN. That purchase will be finalized by the Mendocino School Board tonite. The MCN Listserve group wants to be sure that no government can ever censor the list or practice prior restraing. The MCN listserve is one of the few locally owned social media outlets in the nation and fewer of them don’t sell your info. Participating in globalist ventures like Next Door at your future peril, is my view. City Hall, Town Hal and the Police Station are all upside down with renovations right now. It was not planned to do all at once, but then again the public doesn’t often go between these. It will be going on through August for Town Hall, where the bathrooms are finally being fixed up as well as the building itself and wired for the future in all the places. What future?? Yikes, we need to start understanding what our flag stands for, its not hate, its not worshipping the rich, its equality, balance and unity. We have lost all three very fast. What’s next? Who will have the courage to object? This ain’t 1971 folks, courage and the fortitude to resist big government like we have now seems gone.
