Fort Bragg Police: Missing man has been found.

The FBPD has announced this man has been located. It appears to have been a misunderstanding. I suppose this is why the police didn’t make a huge deal out of this from the beginning?

The following is a post from Fort Bragg police’s Facebook page. It was issued Saturday evening.

We need your help! Have you seen Michael Kleppe?

Michael was last seen on 4/24/2025 at approximately 7:00PM at the intersection of Main Street and Oak Street possibly wearing blue jeans and a blue jean jacket.

If you have seen Michael or see Michael please call (707)964-0200 or have him call home.

The press release doesn’t say the circumstances, who reported him missing or if he might just be out of touch. Also no age on the man, but I found he is 64 and may also hail from Butte County.

The Redheaded Blackbelt says he worked at Sherwood Oaks and vanished after work Thursday and there has been a search by his wife since then.
