Where is Mad Cad going? You will have to read the paper to find out.
Want to read about the Mendocino 4th of July parade breaking (or braking) news in the new issue of Real Estate Magazine? I’ll not give it away, and its NOT on the front page. YOU WILL HAVE TO LOOK FOR IT AND REPORT BACK. LOL.
We encourage you to read the paper, Real Estate Magazine that is!!
Pebbles and her wheelbarrow full of weed were a regular feature. Hemp was once one of the most important crop here, then marijuana, now super duper cannabis and hemp cloned off the charts from any of this stuffThe fire department got stuck with the parade early on and the impossible task of keeping order in MendocinoOur own version of Bob Ross in the parade!Ben Booth came with flags flying. One thing most people may not realize- recruiters were loved by many vets about as much as with anti war folks. RIP good ole patroitic to the end Ben.I love this photo. I would like to see the two people today. Im sure the dog is across the rainbow bridge by now
After much arm-twisting from our readers at mendocinocoast.news, we now have added a way to comment on the site for subscribers. Its easy to subscribe and free. There were some glitches early on those have since been fixed. We made it much easier. So comment away!
I saw supervisor Ted Williams out on the byways and twisted his arm to read it .He promised he would but you know how politician promises go! Just kidding Ted.
Anyway, for the rest of you non-solons, you have to read about the art movement in another state that Larry Fuente and his sponsor created with our biggest piece of art. I am going to try to persuade KOZT or KZYX to break this story for the parade. Tom and Vicky are the true veterans and unsung heroes (until now, la da da, now they are sung) of the parade, but we shall see.
It is actual some heavy and garrish art news!
All different now but still glam. This was way backSome people once objected to Ralph and his. mini cow. Livestock has always been front and center at the Mendo 4th parade. Be glad the greased pig chase no longer ends the celebration! Here is mom in the parade with her red hat buddies. RIP mom and Molly and allDeb Degraw! Parade goddess for many years with the ChamberThis man never stops drumming! Hes still at it.
Most of the issue is devoted to photos of the parade taken by Larry Wagner, the great photo man, with many additional photos by yours truly, happy to learn from Larry anytime I can!
Of course, Zida Borchich is the Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and Aaron Judge of the Real Estate Magazine and I’m one of her pinch hitters. She has put out a fabulous magazine all these years and is also unsung, except when she is singing sultry jazz. So let’s fix that too. Nah, nah, nah, nah, Hey Zida!
Mendocino Environmental Eenter has wxed and waned in its infuence over the decades This time it is going by Mendocino Coast Enviro Center. These kids are pretty much all grown up nowTownsfolk surround the garrish and beloved beastI would charge a grizzly bear but Id be too scared to do thisI walk the parade every year. It was amazing to me how many did not even look at these gals, who were beautiful humansNot everybody loves their picture taken but hey, they were right up front …A funny from years back, when they were trying to impeach a different guy. Impeachment turns out to be a waste of time. This guy joined in the topless protest. LOLI love old White brand trucks but got a childish kick out of this label, which doesnt mean what it used to. Funny back then nobody ever said anything as stupid as white power.Looking your best was not a sin back then
